Job Description – Reading Program Supervisor
No. of Positions: 1
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 days/week)
Working Hours: 8 hours per day
Program: School Partnership / Reading Program
Job Summary:
The Reading Program Supervisor will be responsible for the overall supervision, monitoring and implementation of the Reading Program across all assigned schools. The role will supervise Educators, coordinate with schools, monitor program quality and maintain program documentation and reports.
The Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the program across 10 schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor the implementation of the Reading Program across all assigned schools.
Guide and supervise Educators in their day-to-day program activities.
Conduct regular school visits and classroom observations to assess program implementation.
Monitor student attendance, participation and reading performance.
Ensure that Educators follow the approved curriculum, methodology and activity plan.
Coordinate with school principals, teachers and relevant school authorities.
Identify implementation gaps and provide timely corrective support.
Maintain and review program documentation, attendance records and performance data.
Prepare monthly program reports, progress reports and other documentation as required.
Monitor Educator performance and provide regular feedback.
Conduct team meetings and review meetings for problem-solving and course correction.
Support training and capacity-building activities for Educators and school staff.
Track program targets and indicators and ensure timely achievement.
Maintain records of school visits, observations, student performance and program activities.
Coordinate with the project management team and provide regular updates on field-level progress.
Ensure smooth coordination and execution of program activities across all assigned schools.
The broader project framework also emphasizes structured reading, teacher support, monitoring/data, classroom observation, monthly reporting and periodic review for course correction.
Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Requirement:
Own vehicle is mandatory for regular travel across assigned schools.
Preferred Experience
Experience in education/NGO/CSR projects.
Experience in school-level program implementation.
Experience in team supervision and field coordination.
Experience in documentation, MIS and reporting.

Assigned Schools:
The Supervisor will oversee the Reading Program across all 10 identified schools, while Educators will be deployed across their assigned 2+ schools as per the operational requirement. The proposal also identifies 10 proposed project locations and places emphasis on field-team management, school coordination and local implementation.
