Kalinga Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (KNP+), Odisha, has been implementing the "Care and Support Centre 2.0 (CSC 2.0) for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Angul district, Odisha since last 3 years. CSC is a Community-based service delivery model which provides counseling, psychosocial support, outreach activities, linkages to welfare schemes and an enabling environment for PLHIV. This program is funded by the NACO, GoI through OSACS, (Health & Family Welfare Dept., Govt. of Odisha). KNP+, Odisha cordially inviting applications from suitable eligible candidates for the following post.
Position: Project Coordinator (PC).
Number of Post: 01 no.
Essential qualification and experience:
Postgraduate with two years or graduate with more than three years of experience in HIV programmes; computer literacy and financial and data management experience are also required. Preference will be given to PLHIV Candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
The objective of the Position: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for implementation of the programme under the direct supervision of Project Director of KNP+, Odisha and the overall guidance of CST lead in the OSACS, overseeing capacity building, and ensuring compliance with CSC guidelines and NACP requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain linkages with the ART centre, ICTC, NTEP, NP-NCD, DSRC, TI and other service providers in the district/region.
• Develop and support the implementation of the weekly and monthly work plan of CSC.
• Support all staff to develop their weekly and monthly work-plan based on programme priorities.
• Distribute the operational areas and PLHIV among the ORW to ensure optimal outreach services.
• Ensure availability of IEC materials and condoms for distribution at the CSC
• Undertake occasional field visits with or without the ORW to observe the activities in the field and provide hand-holding/mentoring support.
• Oversee all the M&E activities of the project. Validate all the outcome reported on the CSC mobile app by the ORW. (at least 5% of untraceable and 5% of opted out cases should be validated by PC through home / field visit for which documentation should be maintained).
• Ensure timely submission of monthly and quarterly reports to OSACS.
• Arrange weekly and monthly meetings with the CSC team to identify the key issues in the project and initiate the efforts required to address them.
• Ensure action taken report is shared with OSACS/NACO/SR/PR within a month. for the action points recommended during their supervisory visits
• Lead advocacy, networking and local resource mobilization activities of the CSC.
• In coordination with the accountant, ensure that the financial transactions and expenditure patterns are in accordance with the approved budget.
• Facilitate visits from NACO, OSACS, SR, PR and other stakeholders.
• Identify the capacity building needs of CSC staff and arrange in-house training in coordination with ARTC/OSACS/NACO/SR/PR
• Function as the focal-point for ART-CSC Coordination
• Coordinate all the data sharing activities between the ART centre and CSC
• After receiving the line list from ART centre and ICTC validate the information received to check for duplications and errors
• Allocate the PLHIV tracking assignment to ORW based on the PLHIV location and ORW allocation
• Collect evidence for each case tracked and validate the same before submitting the trackback information to the ART centre
• Ensure outcome of PLHIV tracking submitted by the ORW is validated before submitting the data in the CSC mobile app.
• Ensure updates on LFU cases tracking details are updated in the mobile app. on a regular basis
• Maintain ART-CSC Coordination meeting related documents including meeting minutes duly signed by the Nodal Officer/SMO/MO of the ART centre and PM of the CSC
• Participate in DAPCU/DISHA and ART coordination meetings to share CSC activities and priorities
• Collaborate with Accounts cum M&E officer, and ORW to implement and monitor the project effectively.
• Completer performance appraisal for all ORW before annual contract renewal
• Undertake any other Project related tasks assigned by the Project Director/Project Manager of CSC
Remuneration: Rs.16000/- (Rupees Sixteen thousand only) per month.
