Essential Qualification:
• B.Tech in Leather Technology / Leather Craft Technology
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise and support for the manufacturing and development of leather footwear products.
• Assist in planning and coordinating footwear production activities, including selection of raw materials, pattern development, cutting, stitching, lasting, finishing, and packaging.
• Monitor and support quality control processes to ensure that the footwear products meet the required standards of quality, durability, design, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with artisans, production teams, entrepreneurs, suppliers, and other stakeholders for the smooth implementation of footwear-related activities.
• Provide technical guidance and handholding support to artisans and entrepreneurs to improve their skills, productivity, product quality, and understanding of modern footwear manufacturing techniques.
• Support the development of new and market-oriented footwear designs, products, and prototypes.
• Assist in cluster development activities, including capacity building, technology upgradation, production planning, and strengthening of local enterprises.
• Maintain production, quality control, and activity-related records and prepare periodic reports as required.
• Support the effective implementation, monitoring, and coordination of leather footwear and cluster development projects undertaken by CTED.
• Perform other technical and project-related responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
