Note: Candidates having Degree/Diploma in Special Education (Intellectual Disability) or prior work experience in special education will be preferred.

Role Overview:

The Manager – Education (Special Education) will support the Head – Education and Senior Manager – Education in managing school co-curricular activities, NIOS-related operations, and the Community Integration Program. The role will involve coordination with teachers, parents/caretakers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and execution of education and co-curricular initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. NIOS Section Management

  • Coordinate with parents and relevant stakeholders to address NIOS-related queries and provide timely information.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and execution during NIOS examinations.
  • Ensure timely updating and maintenance of information, documents, and records on the NIOS portal.

2. Co-Curricular Activities & Community Integration Program

  • Plan and coordinate with the Events Committee for co-curricular activities as per the annual calendar.
  • Support the planning and execution of Sports Day and Annual Day in coordination with the Senior Manager.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of CAS activities within the school.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Manager on class allocation and maintain daily student attendance.
  • Coordinate with Managers across sections for planning and execution of the Community Integration Program (CIP).
  • Coordinate with the Senior Manager for external events, competitions, and related activities.

3. Team Management

  • Engage with teachers in planning and coordinating school co-curricular activities.
  • Facilitate effective and engaging interactions between co-curricular teachers and parents/caretakers.
  • Support teachers and relevant team members in the effective implementation of planned activities.

 

Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Special Education – Intellectual Disability (ID).
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience, including experience in managing teachers/teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Google Drive / Google Workspace
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Hindi.
  • Knowledge of Marathi is preferred.
  • Ability to manage change and work effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Resilient, adaptable, quick learner, and strong team player.
